The common thread for the inaugural vegan t-shirt series will be flight and flying. You can interpret this idea any way you want. Really. For example:
- You could include something that flies like planes, chickens, seagulls, time, squirrels, trapeze artists, etc.
- You could incorporate an actual word like flight, flying, fly, flier, flies, what ever.
- You could design something that gives the feeling of soaring, floating, being high (eh hem), being on a roller-coster, high on life (sXe wee!)
- You could incorporate something technically involved in flight like wings, wind, propellers, etc.
- Or you could just draw an actual fly. Look at all those eyes, I say.

-Unisex Organic Cotton: 100% organic cotton- certified. Eco-friendly dye used. Two-needle stitching on sleeve and bottom hem. Made in USA.
-Unisex Bamboo: 70% Bamboo/30%Cotton Jersey (4.5 ounces per square yard). Off the shoulder with raglan sleeves. Eco-friendly dye used. Made in USA.
-Woman's Bamboo Boat Neck: 70% Bamboo/30%Cotton Jersey (4.5 ounces per square yard). Off the shoulder with raglan sleeves. Eco-friendly dye used. Made in USA.
-Unisex Hemp Blend: 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton. Made in USA.
-Unisex Recycled: 65% Cotton/ 35% Polyester (5.6 ounces per square yard). The cotton fibers in the yarn are recycled from 100% cotton fabric scraps from fabrics made of ring spun yarn only. The polyester is recycled from plastic beverage bottles. Two- needle stitching on hem and sleeves. Made in USA.

- Colors: your full design should consist of a total 3 colors. Two colors for the ink, and one color for the shirt.
- Imprint Space: 12" wide max by 15" tall. This is the maximum space available on a small unisex t-shirt. You do not need to use all of this space. (Honestly, less ink is better for the organic bamboo and cotton).
- Resolution: 300 dpi at 100%
- File format: supply the final design as a print-ready PDF. Please also supply the original file (.psd, .ai, etc) so they can be edited as needed for the website images or posters, etc.
series 1 submissions
Submit your questions, ideas, and a concept/sketch/draft between April 6 and April 23, 2010. Feedback will be provided within 48 hours. Submit the final print-ready design by April 30, 2010. If you are in Seattle and want to go to the press-check, just let me know.
